Sonoran Gold Turquoise and Silver Cedar Pendant

The color of this turquoise is so gorgeous! All pictures were taken in natural light but it was still difficult to capture the true beauty of the stone. I formed the real silver cast cedar frond so that it would spray out above the stone. This is difficult but worth it, I think! It's far more interesting this way. I added patina and tumbled for 8 hours to bring out the design in the silver.

This piece has been hand forged by me in my little studio using methods that have been around for hundreds of years. All metal used on this piece is solid 999 fine silver and solid 925 sterling silver. I use recycled fine silver and recycled sterling silver whenever possible.
