Hubei Turquoise and Cast Silver Cedar Pendant

The color of this turquoise is so gorgeous with hues that remind me of fall. All pictures were taken in natural light but it was still difficult to capture the true beauty of the stone. I formed the real silver cast cedar frond so that it would spray out above the stone. This is difficult but worth it, I think! It's far more interesting this way. I double layered the setting so this is a substantial pendant with a lot of silver! I imprinted the back with an interesting wood looking design. I added patina and tumbled for 8 hours to bring out the design in the silver.
