Iron Maiden Turquoise and Silver Cedar Pendant

My favorite new finds. Both stones have shades of green that pair perfectly.

I love imprinting my silver so the backs of my pieces are almost as pretty as the front. I used a print that reminds me of turtle skin, it’s very natural looking.
The fronds I used on either sides are silver castings of a real cedar fronds. They are so fun to work with but very delicate under fire!

All pictures were taken in natural light but it was still difficult to capture the true beauty of the stones. I played with the exposure, a little, which is why there’s a difference in the photos.

Turquoise has been worn and used for hundreds of years for it’s energy balancing benefits. It is a stone that promotes strength, courage, stability and inner calm.

The gems I use in my jewelry are ethically sourced. No two are exactly alike! In addition to these variations, inclusions and irregularities are not flaws but rather a reflection of nature’s beauty.

This piece has been hand forged by me in my little studio using silversmithing methods that have been practiced for hundreds of years. All metal used on this piece is solid 999 fine, and solid 925 sterling silver. I use recycled silver whenever possible.
