Classic Kingman Turquoise! I couldn’t resist making it in to a poison ring. I patterned the silver with a flower design that I think goes perfectly with this stone. It reminds me of spring and summer.

Turquoise has been worn and used for hundreds of years for it’s energy balancing benefits. It is a stone that promotes strength, courage, stability and inner calm.

I take great pride in my curated stone collection. The gems I use in my jewelry are ethically sourced. No two are exactly alike! In addition to these variations, inclusions and irregularities are not flaws but rather a reflection of nature’s beauty.

This piece has been hand forged by me in my little studio using methods that have been around for hundreds of years. All metal used on this piece is solid 999 fine silver and solid 925 sterling silver. I use recycled fine silver and recycled sterling silver whenever possible.

The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest and highest producing Turquoise Mines in America. It was originally discovered by prehistoric Indians well over 1000 years ago. Kingman Turquoise is known for its beautiful sky blue color and produces many variations of blue Turquoise. The Kingman Turquoise mine also produces green Turquoise from the Turquoise Mountain side of the mine. Kingman Turquoise has been the biggest supplier of Turquoise to the Southwestern Turquoise Jewelry industry for nearly as long as the American Turquoise Jewelry industry has existed. In fact, the Kingman Turquoise mine was once part of a Turquoise boom around 1000 AD when the Mayan culture was using a lot of Turquoise for self adornments and ceremonial items. Today, as in the old times, blue Turquoise from Kingman, Arizona is king, even though the mine produces all colors of Turquoise.
